Abstract

<B>"RáDIO RECEPTOR, PROCESSADOR DE SINAL, E, MéTODO DE PROCESSAMENTO DE SINAL"<D>. Estes e outros objetos da presente invenção são obtidos usando um Filtro Multi-Caminho Adaptativo (AMPF) que ruído de estalido audivelmente objecionável gerado na saída de um discriminador de FM para evitar distorção audível ou outra corrupção do sinal desejado que pode incluir voz e dados de baixa velocidade digitais. Os estalidos são detectados na saída do discriminador usando um filtro casado de ruído colorido projetado e adaptado para a assinatura/forma do estalido bem como para as características do sinal desejado. A saída do filtro casado de ruído colorido é então comparada a um limiar adaptativo. Quando o limiar é excedido, um estalido é registrado como detectado. A duração do estalido é então estimada. Uma estimativa do silnal desejado é gerada e substitui a estimativa de silnal de dados recebida originalmente dentro da região de duração do estalido.
