Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"CARBONATO BáSICO DE ALUMìNIO E MAGNéSIO"<D>. A presente invenção refere-se a um novo carbonato básico de alumínio e magnésio da fórmula AI2Mg~ 4~(OH)~ 12~CO3.3H2O (I) e cristalização romboédrica, cujos parâmetros reticulares são a = b = 3,046 Angstr÷m; c = 22,79 Angstr÷m; ( = ( = 90°; ( = 120° e volume de célula = 183 (Angstr÷m)^ 3^, cujo espectro de difração de raios X mostra os seguintes valores d (Angstr÷m) : 7,597; 3,798; 2,6202; 2,5698; 2,5322; 2,2830; 1,93545; 1,72447; 1,62930; 1,52289; 1,49318; 1,46002; 1,41351; 1,38528 e 1,31011; cujo espectro infravermelho mostra bandas características em 1361 e 449 cm^ -1^ (Figura 1), e cuja calorimetria de varredura diferencial (DSC) é ilustrada na Figura 2.
