Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO PARA O TRATAMENTO DE ESCóRIAS DE AçO E SUBSTRATOS DE FERRO PARA O OBTENçãO DE FERRO BRUTO E DE ESCóRIAS COMPATìVEIS COM O MEIO AMBIENTE"<D>. Com um processo para o tratamento de escórias de aço e substratos de ferro, tais como, por exemplo, escórias de eletroforno, de escórias de conversor, minérios finos, pós a partir da preparação de aço, escamas de moinhos de rolos para a obtenção de ferro bruto e escórias compatíveis com o meio ambiente, a proporção em volume de escórias fundida com relação a banho de ferro é escolhida maior do que 0,5 a 1, de preferência, 0,8:1 até 1,5:1, e adiciona-se, à escória, substratos de SiO~ 2~, tal como, por exemplo, areias de fundição, areias metalúrgicas e/ou minérios finos, para o ajuste de uma basicidade de escória (CaO/SiO~ 2~) entre 1,0 e 1,8 de preferência, entre 1,2 e 1,8, com um teor de Al~ 2~O~ 3~ entre 10 e 25% em peso, com relação à escória. Nesse caso, é insuflado jato de ar e carvão, eventualmente com gás inerte, especialmente com nitrogênio e adicionalmente eventualmente oxigênio ou ar quente, é insuflado de maneira permeante pelo banho de ferro.
