Abstract

"MISTURA DE BORRACHA PARA COMPOSTOS DE BANDE DE RODAGEM DE PNEUS". Esta invenção se refere a uma mistura de borracha que é facilmente processável e que pode ser vantajosamente usada em composições de borracha de banda de rodagem de pneus. Essa mistura oferece vantagens particulares em casos em que se usa sílica como uma carga de módulo empregando-se, ao mesmo temo, um nível muito menor de agente de acoplamento de sílica. As misturas desta invenção também pode ser facilmente misturadas utilizando-se, ao mesmo tempo, um ciclo de misturação de duração reduzida. Essas misturas de borracha também oferecem excelentes características de desempenho do pneu, como boa tração, desgaste da banda de rodagem e resistência ao rolamento. Esta invenção apresenta, mais especificamente para utilização na preparação de compostos de banda de rodagem de pneus que são compostos por: (1) de cerca de 1 ppc a cerca de 70 ppc de um polímero de borracha contendo vinilpiridina, em que o polímero de borracha contendo vinilpiridina contém de cerca de 0,5 por centro em peso a cerca de 15 por centro em peso de vinilpiridina e em que o polímero de borracha contendo vinilpiridina tem uma viscosidade Mooney ML 1+4 de menos de cerca de 25, (2) de cerca de 30 ppc a cerca de 99 ppc de uma borracha de estireno-buradieno, em que a borracha de estireno-butadieno tem uma viscosidade Mooney ML 1+4 que está dentro da faixa de cerca de 40 a cerca de 150, (3) uma carga de sílica e (4) um agene de acoplamento de sílica.
