"MECANISMO DE MUDANçA PARA UMA TRANSMISSãO MECâNICA E MéTODO PARA REDUZIR O ESFORçO DO OPERADOR DURANTE A MUDANçA DE UMA TRANSMISSãO MECâNICA", incluindo um eixo seletor tendo garfos de mudança associados para engatar ou desengatar um relação de marcha selecionada e uma haste de controle direcionalmente acoplada ao eixo seletor para rotação positiva, enquanto permite uma translação axial predeterminada relativa. Um conjunto de cilindro é operativamente associado com o eixo seletor e haste de controle para prover um acoplamento de fluido que aplica uma força sobre o eixo seletor em resposta à translação relativa entre o eixo seletor e a haste de controle para reduzir o esforço do operador exigido para completar uma mudança de marcha.
