Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO DE POLìMERO E DE ESTABILIZADOR". Composições de polímero de cloreto de vinila tanto rígidas como flexíveis compreendendo um estabilizador térmico contendo mercaptana latente são substancialmente isentas do odor ofensivo tipicamente associado com mercaptanas e são protegidas durante o processamento pelos produtos de degradação de mercaptana latente (isto é, bloqueada) que incluem uma mercaptana livre. A mercaptana livre assim liberada melhora a atividade de estabilizadores térmicos com base metálica, tais que carboxilatos de cinco e carboxilatos de organoestanho e mercaptídeos na composição de polímero.
