Método e dispositivo para a produção de granulado a partir de aditivos e misturas de aditivos, os quais são usados para a preparação e metodização de plásticos, uma composição plastificada ou um fusão sendo forçada através de matrizes para formar cordões e sendo cortada na região de saida das matrizes, enquanto um refrigerante líquido finamente disperso, tal como água, e/ou refrigerante gasoso, tal como ar, N~ 2~, CO~ 2~, é vaporizado na região de corte.
