IN ORDER TO CREATE A FIRE DOOR, COMPRISING A SIDE AND A DOOR LEAF CONNECTED THERETO BY LATERAL HINGES, AND THE DOOR LEAF COMPRISING AN OVERLAP ON ALL FOUR EDGES FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELECTIVE INSTALLATION FOR RIGHTHAND/LEFTHAND CLOSURE, THE SIDE BEING FITTED AS A FULLY ENCOMPASSING SIDE WITH RESPECTIVE OPPOSITELY POSITIONED SHORT OR LONG SIDE ELEMENTS OF APPROXIMATELY Z-SHAPED CROSS-SECTIONAL BASIC SHAPE WITH RECTANGULARLY ANGLED SIDE BAR ELEMENTS AND THEIR CONNECTING WEB WHICH EXTENDS PARALLEL TO THE DOOR LEAF DEPTH, AND THE SIDE BAR ELEMENTS EXTEND ON THE ONE SIDE PARALLEL TO THE INTERIOR OF THE OVERLAP OF THE DOOR LEAF IN THE DIRECTION OF THE WALL AND ON THE OTHER SIDE PARALLEL TO THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR LEAF, THE SHORT SIDE ELEMENTS ARE DESIGNED IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE EASILY SETUP FOR RESPECTIVE RIGHTHAND OF LEFTHAND CLOSURE, AND THE RESPECTIVE LOWER SIDE ELEMENT IN ITS BUILT IN STATE THEN NO LONGER SUBSTANTIALLY HINDERS COMPLETE PLASTERING AND THE UPPER SIDE ELEMENT OFFERS A POSSIBILITY OF A SEAL EQUALLING THAT OF THE TWO LONG LATERAL SIDE ELEMENTS, THE SIDE BAR ELEMENTS (5) OF ALL FOUR SIDE ELEMENTS WHICH EXTEND PARALLEL TO THE INTERIOR OF THE DOOR LEAF (3) ARE ARRANGED AT A DISTANCE THEREFROM AND COMPRISE AN END (8) WHICH IS RESPECTIVELY ANGLED IN THE DIRECTION OF THE DOOR LEAF (3), AND THE SIDE BAR ELEMENTS (6) OF THE SHORT SIDE ELEMENTS WHICH EXTEND PARALLEL TO THE OVERLAP (4) HAVE OVER THEIR LENGTH A RESPECTIVE NOMINAL BREAKING POINT (10).(FIG. 1)
