Abstract

"FORNO ELéTRICO COM ELETRODOS ISOLADOS E PROCESSO PARA PRODUZIR METAIS FUNDIDOS" Um forno de arco elétrico (10) possuindo um eletrodo parcialmente isolado (37) produz metal fundido (28) tal como ferro de fundição a partir de uma fonte de ferro onde pouca ou nenhuma escória (30) é produzida. O forno (10) inclui pelo menos um eletrodo isolado (37) para imergir fundo na carga de metal (26).
