Abstract

"INSERTO DE CORTE E MéTODO DE FABRICAçãO DO MESMO". Um inserto de corte que possui uma face de flanco e uma face de saída de corte e uma extremidade de corte na junção da mesma. O substrato apresenta uma região em massa que contém um agente aglutinante metálico, assim como um ou mais carbonetos e/ou carbonitretos de metal do Grupo IVB, do Grupo VB e do Grupo VIB. O substrato inclui ainda uma região de superfície de flanco próxima à face de flanco do substrato que possui um conteúdo de carboneto/carbonitreto de metal de solução sólida maior do que aquele da região em massa. O substrato inclui uma região de superfície de saída de corte próxima à face de saída de corte do substrato com um conteúdo de carboneto de metal de solução sólida que é menor do que aquele da região de superfície de flanco.
