Abstract
"PROTEìNA DE LIGAçãO à LACTOFERRINA DE STREPTOCOCCUS UBERIS". A proteína de ligação à lactoferrina bovina (bLF) de Streptococcus uberis (S. uberis) é descrita, bem como o gene que codifica a bLF (lbp). As proteínas de ligação à LF podem ser utilizadas em composições vacinais para a prevenção e tratamento de infecções por S. uberis, particularmente mastite, bem como em métodos de diagnóstico para determinar a presença de infecções por S. uberis. Também é relatado uma região reguladora adjacente a lbp, denominada mga.
