<B>''MéTODO PARA RECUPERAçãO DE QUANTIDADES RESIDUAIS DE CATALISADOR DE METAL PESADO DE COBALTO E MANGANêS''<D>. A presente invenção se refere a resíduos de metais pesados contendo catalisador, obtidos de plantas para a produção de ácido policarboxílico aromático, que são processados pela substancial dissolução do resíduo total em um meio aquoso, sendo os metais catalisadores precipitados na solução, por meio de, preferivelmente, íons de carbonato e/ou bicarbonato.
