Abstract

"COMPOSIçõES DE DIóXIDO DE CLORO PARA CLAREAR DENTE" A presente invenção refere-se a uma dosagem eficaz de dióxido de cloro que provoca uma mudança visível na brancura de uma superfície de dente. A composição inclui uma primeira formulação tendo um precursor de dióxido de cloro e uma segunda formulação tendo um acidulante capaz de gerar dióxido de cloro mediante contato com o precursor. Quando a primeira e segunda formulações são misturadas para produzir dióxido de cloro, a composição tem um pH na faixa de cerca de 3,0 a cerca de 4,5. Para clarear os dentes, a primeira e segunda formulações podem ser misturadas uma com a outra antes da aplicação da mistura resultante ao dentes. Alternativamente, uma das primeira e segunda formulações pode ser inicialmente aplicada aos dentes antes da aplicação da formulação remanescente. A composição inventiva é formulada para provocar uma mudança visível na brancura de uma superfície de dente e, um período de tempo relativamente curto.
