Abstract

"SISTEMA E MéTODO CIRúRGICOS CONTROLADOS POR MOTOR TENDO CONTROLE DE MOTOR DE AUTO-ACERTO". Sistema cirúrgico, adaptado para operar com pelo menos um dispositivo cirúrgico, tem uma peça manual contendo um motor que é adaptado para receber o dispositivo cirúrgico. O dispositivo cirúrgico é acionado através de uma seq³ência de posições pelo eixo de saída do motor. Um microprocessador de controlador controla a operação do sistema. O motor tem sensores para gerar sinais elétricos de posição e o controlador é responsivo aos sinais de entrada para definir tanto uma posição de parada como uma posição de reversão para o dispositivo cirúrgico. Como resultado, o controlador inicia a operação do dispositivo cirúrgico na posição chamada de parada e para a operação do dispositivo cirúrgico de modo que o mesmo descansa substancialmente na posição de parada. Em um modo de operação oscilatória, o controlador também força a ocorrência da reversão em uma posição de reversão determinada pelo sistema, sob o controle do usuário, a menos que uma condição de bloqueio seja detectada, em cujo caso a reversão ocorre tão cedo quanto possível. Em conexão com um dispositivo de corte artroscópico, o controle permite que o cirurgião controle, por exemplo, a ação de abrir da abertura através da qual tecido e fluidos são removidos do local cirúrgico durante as condições de reversão e partida/parada.
