Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA PRODUZIR UM Pó METáLICO DE COBRE, óXIDOS DE COBRE E FOLHA DE COBRE". Esta invenção refere-se a processos para produzir um pó metálico de cobre, a partir de um material contendo cobre compreendendo as etapas de: (A) contactar dito material contendo cobre com um quantidade efetiva de pelo menos uma solução lixiviadora aquosa para dissolver íons de cobre em dita solução lixiviadora e formar uma solução lixiviadora aquosa rica em cobre; (B) contactar dita solução lixiviadora aquosa rica em cobre com uma quantidade efetiva de pelo menos um agente de extração insolúvel em água para tranferir íons de cobre de dita solução lixiviadora aquosa rica em cobre para dito agente de extração para formar um agente de extração rico em cobre e uma solução lixiviadora aquosa desprovida de cobre; (C) separar dito agente de extração rico em cobre de dita solução lixiviadora aquosa desprovida de cobre; (D) contactar dito agente de extração rico em cobre com uma quantidade efetiva de pelo menos uma solução de separação aquosa para transferir íons de cobre de dito agente de extração para dita solução de separação para formar uma solução de separação rica em cobre e um agente de extração desprovido de cobre; (E) separar dita solução de separação rica em cobre de dito agente de extração desprovido de cobre para formar uma primeira solução de eletrólitos; (F) avançar dita primeira solução de eletrólitos para uma célula eletrolítica equipada com pelo menos um primeiro anodo e pelo menos um primeiro catodo, e aplicar uma quantidade efetiva de voltagem através de dito primeiro anodo e dito primeiro catodo para depositar pó metálico de cobre em dito primeiro catodo; e (G) remover pó metálico de cobre de dito primeiro catodo. Em uma configuração, a primeira solução de eletrólitos usada na etapa (F) contém uma concentração de íons de cloreto de até cerca de 5 ppm. Em uma configuração, a primeira solução de eletrólitos, usada na etapa (F), contém pelo menos um triazol. Em uma configuração, o pó metálico de cobre é convertido em óxido cuproso, óxido cúprico ou uma mistura destes; estes óxidos de cobre podem ser prontamente dissolvidos em ácido sulfúrico e utilizados para produzir folha de cobre.
