Descreve-se uma embalagem de dobrar e embulhar aperfeiçoada que proporciona contenção de um chumaço catemenial antes do seu uso e para descartar convenientemente um chumaço catamenial sujo. A embalagem de dobrar e embrulhar compreende um envoltório que compreende uma única tira de material que possui uma painel de aba, uma painel central, e um painel extremo; e preferentemente uma aba de fita para prender o envoltório segundo uma configuração de descarte para proporcionar descarte conveniente de um chumaço catamenial sujo embrulhado no envoltório. A embalagem de dobrar e embrulhar é inicialmente configurada de forma a ter uma bolsa e uma aba. A bolsa é formada pelo dobramento do painel extremo de volta no painel central e ligando quebradiçamente o painel extremo ao painel central nas bordas longitudinais de forma que o painel extremo pode ser facilmente removido fora do painel central para proporcionar o descarte conveniente de um chumaço catamenial sujo.
