Patente de modelo de utilidade de um tipo de passatempo semelhante às palavras cruzadas tradicionais no qual porém as palavras se cruzam pela coincidência de duas letras e não apenas de uma; os diagramas para este passatempo são formados por casas que são divididas em duas, de preferência por uma linha diagonal ascendente, formando duas semi-casas; cada semi-casa deve abrigar uma letra e, portanto, cada casa deve abrigar duas letras; as palavras horizontais e verticais se cruzam nas casas e, conseq³entemente, compartilham duas letras; aquele que soluciona o passatempo deve fazê-lo, tal qual nas palavras cruzadas tradicionais, segundo definições que são fornecidas para cada palavra."WORDS CROSSED WITH DOUBLE HOUSES".
