"MATERIAL QUE PODE SER USADO PARA REFRIGERAçãO MAGNéTICA, E, MéTODO PARA A FABRICAçãO E APLICAçãO DO MESMO" A invenção refere-se a um material que pode ser usado para refrigeração magnética, em que o material substancialmente tem a fórmula geral (A~ y~B~ 1-y~)~ 2<sym><sym>C~ W~D~ X~E~ Z~, em que: A é selecionado dentre Mn e Co; B é selecionado dentre Fe e Cr; dentre C, D e E pelo menos dois são diferentes, tem uma concentração não evanescente, e são selecionados dentre P, B, Se, Ge, Ga, Si, Sn, N e Sb, em que pelo menos um dentre C, D e E é Ge ou Si; w, x, y e z cada é um número na faixa de 0 - 1, e w + x + z e <SYM> é um número de (-0, 1) - (+ 0, 1).
