Abstract

"MéTODOS DE PRECIPITAçãO DE CRISTAIS". A presente invenção refere-se à separação de cristais de cloridrato de paroxetina 1/2 - hidratada, mediante adição de água a uma solução ou suspensão que compreende cloridrato de paroxetina e um solvente orgânico polar, o qual é isento de água ou contém no máximo 60% em peso de água, de modo a ajustar o teor de água para pelo menos 70% em peso, quando os cristais de cloridrato de paroxetina 1/2 - hidratada são deixados separar em um solvente orgânico polar contendo água. Os cristais de cloridrato de paroxetina 1/2 - hidratada não-coloridos de rosa podem ser deixados separar na presença de cloreto de hidrogênio, quando os cristais de cloridrato de paroxetina 1/2 - hidratada são deixados separar em água ou em um solvente orgânico polar contendo água.
