Abstract

"PLANTAS RESISTENTES A INSETO E PROCESSOS PARA OBTENçãO DA MESMA". A presente invenção refere-se a uma seq³ência de DNA codificando uma proteína Cry1Ab modificada que tem atividade inseticida. A invenção ainda refere-se a um processo para a produção de plantas resistentes a insetos através de introdução no genoma das plantas de um DNA estranho compreendendo uma tal seq³ência de codificação cry1ab modificada. A invenção ainda refere-se a plantas ou suas partes compreendendo em seu genoma a sequência de codificação cry1ab modificada da presente invenção.
