Abstract

"ARMAçãO FLUTUANTE, E, MéTODO PARA CONSTRUIR A MESMA". Uma armação flutuante para uma plataforma de perfuração e produção de óleo e gás fora da costa do tipo vergóntea compreende diversas células tubulares paralelas (12, 14) que são subdivididas em compartimentos tendo uma flutuabilidade controlada por um ou ambos lastros fixo e variável. As células podem ser fabricadas de uma variedade de maneiras e formas e incluem aberturas de parede lateral para admitir e descarregar lastro de água do mar e petróleo com bombas.
