Abstract

"PROCESSOS PARA PREPARAR POLIóIS CAPEADOS COM óXIDO DE ETILENO". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para preparar polióis capeados com óxido de etileno, que envolve a combinação de um poliol catalisado com cianeto de metal duplo com um catalisador básico. A presente invenção também refere-se a um processo para preparar polióis capeados com óxido de etileno, que envolve combinar um poliol catalisado com cianeto de metal duplo com um poliol catalisado com base. A presente invenção também refere-se a um processo para preparar polióis capeados com óxido de etileno, em que a remoção dos resíduos de catalisador ou sal formados pela neutralização do catalisador básico não é requerida. Os polióis produzidos pelos processos da presente invenção tem um teor relativamente elevado de grupos hidroxila primários.
