Abstract

"PNEU TENDO TIRANTES DE LIGAçãO AFUNILADOS". A presente invenção refere-se a um pneu, que inclui um padrão de banda de rodagem tendo ranhuras circunferenciais e laterais (10) formando uma pluralidade de nervuras que se estendem circunferencialmente (3), cada nervura tendo uma pluralidade de blocos de banda de rodagem (9). Uma pluralidade de tirantes de ligação (16,17) se estende circunferencialmente através de certas das ranhuras laterais (10) entre blocos de banda de rodagem adjacentes em pelo menos duas das nervuras (3) que estão localizadas igualmente opostas a um plano circunferencial médio do pneu. Os tirantes de ligação (16) têm um par de paredes laterais e uma superfície de topo inclinada (27) com a inclinação da superfície de topo em uma das nervuras (3) sendo oposta na inclinação (28) dos tirantes de ligação (17) na outra nervura (3) para gerar um torque de alinhamento residual (RAT) no pneu.
