Abstract
"PROCESSOS PARA O ISOLAMENTO OU PURIFICAçãO DE PRAVASTATINA OU UM SAL FARMACOLOGICAMENTE ACEITáVEL DA MESMA E PARA O ISOLAMENTO OU PURIFICAçãO DE PRAVASTATINA SóDIO, E, COMPOSIçãO COMPREENDENDO PRAVASTATINA SóDIO". Um método para o isolamento ou purificação de pravastatina ou seu sal farmacologicamente aceitável da mesma caracterizado por envolver, no processo de isolamento ou purificação de pravastatina ou seu sal farmacologicamente aceitável da mesma, a etapa de extrair pravastatina usando um solvente orgânico representado pela fórmula CH~ 3~CO~ 2~R (em que R representa um grupo alquila tendo três ou mais carbonos) ou a etapa de decompor impurezas usando um ácido inorgânico ou uma base inorgânica, e composições contendo pravastatina sódio assim obtido.
