"SISTEMA CATALISADOR E SEU USO EM UM PROCESSO DE POLIMERIZAçãO". São divulgadas composições ativadoras de catalisador de polimerização as quais incluem um cátion de carbónio e um ânion contendo alumínio. Essas composições ativadoras são preparadas através de combinação de uma fonte de carbónio ou tritila e com um complexo contendo alumínio, de preferência um composto de perfluorofenilalumínio. Também divulgados são sistemas catalisadores de polimerização incluindo a composição ativadora da invenção e processos para a polimerização de olefinas utilizando a mesma.
