Abstract
"MéTODO DE ESTIRAMENTO DE UM FILME POLIMéRICO". Método de estiramento de filmes em que toda ou porção da largura do filme é esfriada durante ou logo após o estiramento de modo a aumentar a uniformidade do filme. O método inclui estiramento do filme polimérico (26) em um esticador (10) que agarra o filme com pluralidade de grampos (22, 24) ao longo das bordas opostas do filme (26) e impulsiona os grampos (22, 24) para por meio deles estirar o filme. O esticador (10) inclui grampos dirigidos (22) e grampos inativos (24), com pelo menos um grampo inativo (24) entre pares respectivos de grampos dirigidos (22). O esfriamento é feito de modo a aumentar a uniformidade do espaçamento de grampo relativo ao espaçamento obtido em de outra forma condições idênticas de processo sem tal esfriamento.
