Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "MéTODO E APARELHO PARA DESSULFURAçãO DE GASES DE DESCARGA". São descritos um método e aparelho para dessulfuração de gases de descarga a partir de uma usina de produção de cimento mediante a ligação de dióxido de enxofre gasoso à matéria-prima constituída por pó bruto contendo cálcio, extraído do estágio de calcinação (4) da usina e sub-seq³entemente conduzida para contato com os gases de descarga como um reagente absorvente de enxofre. Segundo o método específico, o pó bruto extraído é extinto e moído antes de ser conduzido para contato com os gases de descarga. Com este método e aparelho, é obtida uma maior economia de calor mediante a redução da quantidade de pó bruto exigido para o processo de dessulfuração. Isto se deve ao fato da extinção e moagem do pó bruto aumentarem a sua finura, deste modo melhorando o rendimento do processo de dessulfuração.
