Abstract

''COMPOSIçãO AQUOSA ADEQUADA PARA USO EM REVESTIMENTO DE COURO, E, PROCESSO PARA O REVESTIMENTO DE COURO''. São fornecidos uma composição aquosa de revestimento de couro e um processo para revestir o couro com a composição aquosa de revestimento. A composição aquosa de revestimento contém um polímero de emulsão aquosa que inclui de 0,4% a 10% em peso do monómero de acetoacetato ou de acetoacetamida copolimerizado e tem uma temperatura de transição vítrea de -20°C a 10°C. Em uma modalidade alternativa, a composição aquosa de revestimento contém um polímero de emulsão aquosa que inclui de 0,1% a 6% em peso de um monómero de acetoacetato ou de acetoacetamida copolimerizado e de 2% a 15% em peso de monómero de ácido carboxílico copolimerizado e tem uma temperatura de transição vítrea de -40°C a 0°C; o polímero foi colocado em contato com um óxido de metal de transição, hidróxido ou carbonato, em um pH de menos do que 9, em uma quantidade maior do que 0,20 equivalente de metal de transição por equivalente do monómero de ácido carboxílico copolimerizado.
