Abstract

The invention relates to an absorbent core for a baby diaper and finds application in the range of disposable hygiene products intended for babies and young children. According to the proposed solution, the absorbent core for a baby diaper, consisting of a mixture of cellulose and super absorbent, wrapped in a non-woven textile material, is an elongated three-dimensional working surface, with a widened front part and with parallel channels formed on at least 2/3 of its length, oppositely curved towards the outer part of the core at one end, wherein the front and rear ends of the core are beveled. Field of technology

The invention relates to an absorbent core for a baby diaper and finds application in the range of disposable hygiene products intended for babies and young children.

Prior art

The main purpose of disposable baby diapers is to absorb urine while keeping the baby's skin dry. One of the common drawbacks of baby diapers, and therefore a cause of complaints from consumers, is side leakage in diapers. The main element in the diaper that absorbs urine and keeps the baby's skin dry is its core.

An absorbent core for a baby diaper is known, in which the absorbent layer is placed between layers of hydrophilic nonwoven fabric. The upper surface of the core is formed with a wavy profile, in which the arrangement of the "waves" is longitudinal to the core, over at least % of its length, the height of the waves being maximum in the central part of the core, and at both ends being minimum, and at one end it is possible to be formed with a flat profile. Even with this type of diaper, the absorbency and side leakage of the diapers remain insufficiently guaranteed.

Technical essence of the invention

The object of the present invention is to create an absorbent core for a baby diaper that has increased absorbency and reduced side leakage, while ensuring the safety and comfort of the baby.

The problem is solved by the proposed absorbent core for a baby diaper, which includes a mixture of cellulose and superabsorbent, wrapped in a nonwoven fabric material and which, according to the proposed solution, represents an elongated three-dimensional working surface, with an enlarged front part and with parallel channels formed on at least 2/3 of its length. The parallel channels are oppositely curved to the outer part of the core at one end, whereby the front and rear parts of the core are beveled. The thickness is maximum in the middle part of the core, comprising % of its length, and at both ends a front part, comprising 1/7 of the front end of its length and a rear part, comprising 3/7 of the rear end of its length is minimum. The thickness of the core at the beginning of the front part is from 40% to 60% of the thickness of the middle part. The thickness of the core at the end of the rear part is from 40% to 60% of the thickness of the middle part. The parallel longitudinal channels are centrally located in the middle and front part of the core, with their curved ends located in the front part thereof.

According to a variant of the invention, the parallel channels of the absorbent core for a baby diaper are not less than 2 pieces, with a horizontal distance between them D = 20 mm +/-5 mm, and a width of each channel E from 7 mm to 11 mm. The value of the vertical length of the front part of the core is from 350 mm to 430 mm, of the middle part of the core from 180 mm to 260 mm and of the back part of the core from 60 mm to 140 mm. The value of the thickness of the middle part of the core is from 3 mm to 8 mm, the value of the thickness of the front part of the core is from 2 mm to 8 mm and the value of the thickness of the back part of the core is from 1 mm to 4 mm. The width value of the y-shaped part of the core is from 90 mm to 120 mm and the width value of the narrowed part of the core is from 70 mm to 110 mm.

According to a further embodiment of the invention, the thickness of the core in its middle part is different from the thickness of the core in its front part and from the thickness of the core in its rear part.

The presence of longitudinal channels in the thus proposed absorbent core for a baby diaper ensures good distribution of the liquid along the length of the core, thereby improving the quality characteristics of disposable diapers. The three-dimensional profile, formed by the beveling in the front and rear parts of the core, ensures higher absorption in its middle part, at the expense of the front and rear parts, and minimizes lateral leakage from the diaper.

The core thickness in the different zones is characterized by the following values: thickness A in Zone 2 from 3 mm to 8 mm, thickness B at the beginning of Zone 1 from 2 mm to 8 mm and thickness C at the end of Zone 3 from 1 mm to 4 mm.

The widened part of the core is characterized by a value from 90 mm to 120 mm, and the narrowed part of the core by a value from 70 mm to 110 mm.

According to an alternative embodiment of the absorbent core for a baby diaper, the thickness B in the middle part of the core Zone 2 is different from the thickness A in the front end Zone 1 and from the thickness C in the rear end Zone 3 of the core.
