L'invention oonoerne les cabinets d'aisances à sièges, et elle a pour but rassurer aux usagers tout le confort désirable au point de vue de la propreté et de l'hygiène. de façon à les mettre totalement à l'abri du risque que l'on courte dans les ins- tallations actuelles, de contracter de très graves maladies in- fectieuses, notamment dans les hôtels, trains, cabinets dtaisanaes publias, etc,,, En outre, l'invention présente l'avantage très important de ne nécessiter de la part de l'usager aucune manoeuvre compliquée, ni surtout aucune manipulation d'objets précédemment salis par d'autres. On réalise donc de la sorte un progrès impor- tant pour la santé publique, sans aucunement importuner ceux qui en bénéficient .
A cet effet l'invention prévoit des moyens combinés aveo le siège de la cuvette de water-closet, et disposés et agencés de façon telle qu'ils assurent automatiquement avant, ou après, cha- que usage de l'appareil sanitaire, la mise en place d'un couvre-

siège préservateur, en papier par exemple;, et l'enlèvement du couvre-siège ayant servi.
Suivant une forme d'exécution, le dispositif comporte, pour chacun des côtés du siège, une 'bande couvre-siège en papier déli- vrée par un rouleau fournisseur et s'enroulant sur un rouleau d'appel après être passée sur le siège, la oommande des rouleaux d'appel étant assurée par l'intermédiaire d'un méoanisme approprié.
L'invention concerne également des moyens permettant l'amovi- bilité du dispositif et son adaptation facile et rapide sur tous genres de cuvettes, des moyens pour la commande des rouleaux d'ap- pel des bandes oouvre-sièges, ainsi que des dispositions de bobines et porte-'bobines pour lesdites bandes, et des moyens pour le relè- vement automatique du siège

Dans ces figures, 1 est la cuvette et 2 est le siège abattant découpé suivant une ouverture 3 et pivotant par des paliers 5 autour d'un axe 4 monté dans des supports fixes 6.
Sur le siège 2 est monté à pivotement, par des tourillons 7, un couvercle plein 8.
Conformément à l'invention le siège et le couvercle sont é- quipés de moyens disposés et agenoés de façon telle que, chaque fois que l'on relève le couvercle 8 pour faire usage de l'appa- reil sanitaire, cette manoeuvte obligatoie a pour résultat d'amener en place automatiquement des bandes protectrices neuves 9a, en papier par exemple, respectivement sur les eûtes 2a et 2b du siège 2 délimitant les bords de l'ouverture 3, et de faire dis- paraître en même temps les bandes protectrices ayant précédemment servi.

Les deux rouleaux fournisseurs 10 sont montés, de faon à pou- voir être enlevés pour le remplacement des bobines, entre des plaques-supports 12 et 13 solidaires du siège 2 et ils sont sup- portés chacun par un arbre 14, monté entre la plaque 12 et une autre plaque 33 également solidaire du siège.
Les deux rouleaux récepteurs 11 sont également montés,, de façon à permettre l'enlévement du papier usagé, entre les plaques 12 et 13 et ils sont entraînés chacun par un arbre 15,
Les plaques 12 et 15 constituent les parois verticales ex.- trêmes d'un carter 16 couvre-bobines comportant, à l'aplomb de l'ouverture 3 du siège 2, une ouverture correspondante fermée latéralement par des plaques 34 avec une fente 17 pour livrer passage au papier 9,,
L'actionnement des arbres 15 est réalisé par l'intermédiaire d'un mécanisme logé dans un carter arrière 18 délimité à l'avant par la plaque de fond 33 et à l'arrière par une plaque de fond 19. Ce mécanisme comprend une roue à roohet 20 montée folle sur un axe 21 autour duquel est monté fou un levier 22 portant un cliquet 33 qui s'engage dans la denture du rochet 20* lequel est solidaire 3'une roue dentée 24 également folle sut l'axe 21 et engrenant avec une roue dentée 25 calée sur l'arbre 15.
C'est en basculant vers le haut le couvercle 8 que l'on provoque automatiquement laotionnement des deux rochets 23 et, à cet effet, le dispositif comporte,, par exemple, une plaque de commande 26 montée à coulissement entre des guides verticaux 27, et pourvue de deux doigts d'entraïnement 28 engagés dans les tête fourchues des leviers 22 porte-cliquets, ladite plaque 26

étant suspendue en son milieu à un câble 29 passant par une poulie.. guide 30 montée à la partie supérieure du carter arrière 18, puis sur des poulies-guides inférieures 31 et 35, ledit câble étant at- taché à son autre extrémité en 32 sur la faoe interne du couver- c le 8.
On conçoit dès lors aisément le fonctionnement du dispositif!
Lorsque l'usager relève le couvercle 8, cette opération a pour effet de provoquer l'ascension de la plaque 26 qui vient en 26' et qui, par les doigts 28 entraine les leviers 22 porte-cli- quets, lesquels pivotent jusque en 22' en aotionnant les roohets 20 dont le mouvement est transmis, par les rouel dentées 24 et 25,, aux arbres 15 commandant les rouleaux 11, Ceux-ci provoquent de la sorte l'appel d'une certaine longueur de papier propre, que débi- tent les rouleaux fournisseurs 10, le papier qui a servi quittant les eûtes 2a et 2b pour faire place au papier propre, Lorsque on rabaisse le couvercle,, après avoir fait usage de l'apparcil sanitaire,. la plaque 26 redescend par son prore poids,.
