Abstract
The light modules are used to mark out escape paths such that fumes do not compromise their visibility. The light modules represent the escape path either by a line or another geometric shape providing minimum lighting to make it possible to reach emergency exits in complete safety. The light modules are connected to one or more sources and may also be connected to each other using extension connectors. The term "light module" generally refers to any synthetic products with the property of "diffusing" light produced at one point to one or more other points at a distance from said source. The term applies to all compositions, without any exceptions. In terms of claims, the engineering and specification department of the applicants shall be the sole party authorised to: 1. draft specifications in accordance with existing and future standards, 2. accept installations and issue certificates of compliance, 3. perform the compulsory periodic inspections of installations and...<IMAGE>

DESCRIPTION APPLICATION DE MODULES DE LUMIERE A L'ECLAIRAGE DE SECURITE DANS LES BATIMENTS.
EMI1.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

DESCRIPTION APPLICATION OF LIGHT MODULES TO SECURITY LIGHTING IN BUILDINGS.
EMI1.1
---------------------------------------------------------- -------- 1-The present invention was born from a reflection: too many lives were lost, the victims did not have time to go to the emergency exits for lack of visibility of the escape route to follow.
2-Indeed, both the emergency lighting fixtures and the pictograms and acronyms are currently installed at height and it is precisely at this point that the smoke is concentrated, which thus obscures any point of reference allowing to reach the emergency exits.
The signaling module integrates into the ground or is placed at a height of maximum 30 cm along the walls or partitions or even in the center of traffic aisles, whatever the materials used.
2-Emergency lighting: when the power supply of the normal lighting goes out, the emergency lighting must be switched on automatically and must include the emergency lighting specific to the evacuation, the safety light signaling and the lighting of first aid auxiliaries.
3 - The lighting of escape routes or the marking of safety signs (pictograms and acronyms) and first aid auxiliaries is carried out using light modules connected to one or more current sources located in boxes of existing diversions or to be agreed in buildings.
The signaling module generally designates any natural substance, any synthetic product having the property of "diffusing" the light produced at one point towards one or more other points delocalized with respect to this source. This LED includes (lightening energy diodes) of all compositions, all colors without any exclusion, drawn up on a printed circuit and connected together by wires soldered on a circuit, which is connected to it by electric wires of '' a length studied according to the distance between the light source and the installation of the signaling element.
The electrical wires connected to the element are connected to a transformer transforming the current at high voltage (+ llOV) to a low voltage (24V and 4-The light modules are placed in a transparent element or not, whose geometric shape and the cross-section is variable and whose materials of all kinds must withstand permanent road traffic.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
5-The cables are laid horizontally, vertically, obliquely and / or along any contour or any geometric line, as the case may be. They materialize the escape route by a line, an arrow or any other geometric shape and of variable section.
6-The module can remain on permanently thanks to the lifespan of 450,000 hours of "LED" bulbs and possibly indicate the usual exits or simply indicate the path to take to reach the emergency doors.
7-The light modules are connected to one or more sources (see attached drawing) and can also be connected to each other using extension fittings (couplings).
8-The transformer (s) (see article 3) necessary to reach the power imposed by the proper functioning of the installation can take their sources from existing sources see normal sources or from the source or sources belonging to the security system. (see shema of part of a whole concept adapted as an example in a car park).
This example could also be adapted to all areas not lit by daylight.
