Abstract

Procédé d'enrobage ou d'encapsulement d'une poudre inorganique, suivant lequel la poudre, qui est de préférence un pigment, est dispersée dans un milieu aqueux, et un monomère éthyléniquement insaturé est polymérisé en présence de la poudre, tandis que le mélange de réaction est exposé à des vibrations ultrasoniques. Le monomère est présent en une quantité n'excédant pas 200 % du poids de la poudre et est, de préférence, un acrylate ou méthacrylate. La poudre porte en surface une charge cationique qui peut être produite en traitant la surface au moyen d'un sel d'aluminium.
