Abstract
The mechanism for an adjustment setting between two components has at least one adjustment cogwheel (1) with a toothed zone (5) and a further cogwheel (2) with a toothed area (6). An input shaft (3) is toothed with splines (14), and at least two planetary cogwheels (10a-10d) have toothed splines (15,16). The teeth (1) of the first cogwheel (1) mesh with one set of planetary splines (15) and the other cogwheel teeth (6) mesh with the other set of planetary splines (16). The splines (14) of the input shaft (3) mesh either with the planetary splines (16) of each planet wheel (10a-1d) or the teeth of the first and second cogwheels. The tooth count at the teeth (5,6) of the two cogwheels (1,2) differ from each other and/or the planetary tooth splines (15,16) have different tooth counts.
