Abstract
The invention relates to a device and a method for the surface treatment of parts by dip coating. Said device comprises treatment stations (15) for treating the parts (42, 42') by dip coating and a transport unit (92) for transporting the parts, said unit running outside the treatment stations (15). A plurality of carrier elements, each having a receiving element (40) for fixing at least one of the parts to be treated, can be displaced along the transport unit. Each of the parts (42, 42') is held in the receiving element (40) in such a way that it can pivot laterally about a horizontal pivoting axis outside the treatment station (15) and can be introduced into and withdrawn from the treatment stations (15) by a pivoting motion.
