Abstract

The invention relates to a connection adapter for connecting a valve, especially a thermostat valve, and/or a pipe and/or a pump to a heating element. The connection adapter (5) comprises a housing (8) provided with two connection flanges (9) which are provided for connection to corresponding supports (10) of the heating element (1). The connection flanges (9) comprise frontal sealing surfaces (11) which can be sealingly placed on supports (10) of the heating element (1) by means of a respective seal (13). A securing means (14) engages with the side (4) of the housing (8) facing away from the connection flanges (9) and a force which acts in an axial manner in relation to the connection flanges (9) can be produced by engagement with the retaining means provided on the heating element (16)
