   Auf der zugehörigen Zeichnung ist die Neuerung zur Darstellung gebracht, und zwar zeigt :
Fig. 1 einen Querschnitt eines Schmierbehälters nach dem alten System,
Fig. 2 einen Querschnitt eines Schmierbehälters nach vorliegender Erfindung,
Fig. 3 einen Querschnitt durch die Lagerstelle der Achse nach Fig.   I,  
Fig. 4 einen Querschnitt durch die Lagerstelle der Achse nach Fig. 2. 



   Der Boden der Höhlung a, der bei den bisherigen Wagenachsen meist nur in der Mitte derselben angebracht und zur Aufnahme des   Schmiermittels     (consistentes   Fett etc) bestimmt ist, wird bis unter die Läufstellen der Achse verlängert, und besteht vorliegende Erfindung darin, diese Verlängerungen mit nach den   Laufstellen   zu schräg nach abwärts verlaufenden Böden b, c zu versehen. 



   Das Schmiermittel wird also stets das Bestreben haben, nach den   Laufstellen   hin zu Hiessen, so dass die gute   Schmierung   der reibenden Stellen gesichert und ein Heinlaufer. der Achse ausgeschlossen ist.
