Abstract

Als Hühnerbesitzer habe ich festgestellt, dass Hühner gerne Mais fressen, Für die Gesundheit der Tiere ist es besser, wenn die Maiskörner direkt vom Kolben gepickt werden. Es ist für die Tiere eine Beschäftigungstherapie, die die Gesundheit fördert, da Hühner meist in kleineren Gehegen gehalten werden und daher zu wenig Beschäftigung haben. Der Schnabel der Hühner wird gewetzt, was ebenfalls für die Gesundheit nötig ist. Leider liegt der Maiskolben im Gehege mit einer Seite im Dreck und diese Seite wird nicht gefressen. Bei meiner Recherche habe ich festgestellt, dass es keine Apparatur gibt mit der man den Maiskolben befestigen kann, bei der der Kolbher schnell ersetzt werden kann, an dem sich die Tiere nicht verletzen können, und der eine schmutzfreie, komplette Verwendung des Maiskolben garantiert, Deshalb habe ich einen Maiskolbenhalter aus Holz entwickelt, der diese Ansprüche erfüllt.
