Abstract
Un método para extraer valores metálicos de un material de partida utilizando tiosulfato como lixiviante. Los valores metálicos se pueden recuperar de la solución utilizando un precipitante. La solución que queda después de recuperar los valores metálicos se puede tratar con un material que contiene calcio para eliminar los sulfatos. Una parte de la solución restante después de recuperar los valores metálicos se puede tratar con una etapa de tratamiento de agua antes o después de la adición del material que contiene calcio.
