Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una marca de seguridad (100), a un método y a un dispositivo para leer y decodificar la marca de seguridad (100), a un documento de seguridad (150) marcado con la marca de seguridad (100) y a un método y a un sistema para verificar y autentificar dicho documento de seguridad (150). La marca de seguridad (100) comprende una marca legible por máquina (130) que se superpone con una capa inducida magnéticamente (120) de un material que incluye partículas de pigmento magnéticas o magnetizables en forma de plaqueta reflectantes orientadas magnéticamente con dos zonas (120a) y (120b) de distintas orientaciones de las partículas. Los datos codificados en la marca legible por máquina (130) se pueden decodificar únicamente después de que se recopilen los datos leídos por separado de las dos zonas (120a) y (120b).
