Abstract
Un método para generar un registro de profundidad de cortes obtenidos durante una operación de perforación subterránea incluye adquirir imágenes de los cortes y etiquetar las imágenes con una profundidad retardada en un sitio de perforación; generar un agrupamiento de tipos de litología en las imágenes adquiridas en un sitio de perforación; transferir las imágenes y el agrupamiento de tipos de litología desde el sitio de perforación a una ubicación fuera del sitio; evaluar las imágenes y el agrupamiento de tipos de litología para etiquetar cada uno de los tipos de litología en la ubicación fuera del sitio; y generar una descripción y/o registro de profundidad de los tipos de litología etiquetados en la ubicación fuera del sitio.
