La presente se refiere al campo de la genética de las plantas y la reproducción molecular. En particular la presente solicitud se relaciona con el gen KRN2 que controla el número de hileras de granos en las plantas, los marcadores moleculares estrechamente ligados a KRN2 y su aplicación en la reproducción molecular.
