Abstract

Se presenta un método para la reducción de la incidencia de los cólicos en un sujeto pediátrico, el método incluye la administración a un sujeto de una composición nutricional que tiene de aproximadamente 1 x 10³ a aproximadamente 1 x 10¹² cfu/100 kcal de probiótico de metabolización de LA; hasta aproximadamente 7 g/100 kcal de una grasa o un lípido; hasta aproximadamente 5 g/100 kcal de una proteína o una fuente equivalente de proteína; de aproximadamente 0,06 g/100 kcal hasta aproximadamente 1,5 g/100 kcal de producto lácteo enriquecido; de aproximadamente 5 mg/100 kcal a aproximadamente 90 mg/100 kcal de una fuente de ácidos grasos poliinsaturados de cadena larga; y de aproximadamente 0,015 g/100 kcal hasta aproximadamente 1,5 g/100 kcal de una composición prebiótica.
