Abstract
Se proporcionan aparatos y procesos para convertir alimentaciones de hidrocarburos en olefinas ligeras y otros hidrocarburos. Los procesos y aparatos incluyen, en algunas modalidades, alimentar un hidrocarburo, un primer catalizador y un segundo catalizador a un reactor, en donde el primer catalizador tiene un tamaño de partícula promedio menor y es menos denso que el segundo catalizador. Una primera porción del segundo catalizador puede ser recuperada como un producto de cola del reactor, y un efluente de hidrocarburo craqueado, una segunda porción del segundo catalizador, y el primer catalizador puede ser recuperado como un producto superior del reactor. La segunda porción del segundo catalizador puede separarse del producto superior, proporcionando una primera corriente que comprende el primer catalizador y el efluente de hidrocarburo y una segunda corriente que comprende el segundo catalizador separado, permitiendo el retorno del segundo catalizador separado en la segunda corriente al reactor.
