Abstract
En una realización, se describen un sistema de detección y un método para monitorear la tierra y las aguas residuales. En una realización, un sistema sensor comprende un sistema de cartuchos implementado en un circuito integrado. El sistema de cartuchos comprende un sensor químico y un procesador de computadora asociado al sensor químico. El sensor químico está configurado para recibir una muestra de un material de prueba, como tierra o aguas residuales. Según la muestra del material de prueba, el sensor químico determina una medición de una propiedad en el material de prueba. El procesador de computadora recibe del sensor químico la medición de la propiedad en el material de prueba, y computa un nivel de concentración de la propiedad en el material de prueba según, al menos en parte, la medición de la propiedad en el material de prueba. Según la concentración del nivel de la propiedad en el material de prueba, el procesador de computadora genera información de salida que comprende el nivel de concentración. En una realización, el nivel de concentración de la propiedad en el material de prueba se agrega a un controlador computarizado que controla maquinaria agrícola que ejecuta una prescripción agrícola en un campo agrícola.
