Abstract

Un sistema y método de molienda en seco mejorado para producir un flujo de azúcar a partir de granos o fuentes y/o residuos de carbohidratos similares, como para producción bioquímica. En particular, después de la sacarificación y antes de un proceso de conversión de azúcar, se extrae un flujo de azúcar / carbohidratos de un flujo sacarificado. EI flujo de azúcar / carbohidratos incluye un equivalente de dextrosa deseado (DE) donde el DE describe el grado de conversión de almidón a dextrosa que puede producirse, estando dicho flujo de azúcar disponible para producción bioquímica, por ejemplo, producción de alcohol u otros procesos. Además, los sistemas y métodos también pueden comprender la extracción de ciertos componentes de granos, por ejemplo, componentes de granos de maíz, incluyendo proteína y/o fibra. La producción de flujo de azúcar ocurre en el extremo anterior del sistema y método.
