Abstract
Se provee un sistema de producción de hidrógeno que logra una operación de producción de hidrógeno altamente eficiente aún cuando se use una fuente de energía eléctrica que varía con el tiempo. Un sistema de producción de hidrógeno incluye un capacitor que ingresa energía eléctrica desde una fuente de alimentación de energía renovable y que almacena energía eléctrica, una unidad de generación de tensión por pulsos que genera una tensión por pulsos que tiene una amplitud ajustada y un periodo cíclico ajustado usando la energía eléctrica almacenada en el capacitor y una celda electrolítica que aplica la tensión por pulsos generada y que genera hidrógeno mediante electrólisis de vapor de alta temperatura usando el vapor provisto en la celda electrolítica.
