Abstract
Un codificador de audio para codificar una señal de audio, comprende: un primer procesador de codificación (600) para codificar una primera porción de señal de audio en un dominio de frecuencia, en donde el primer procesador de codificación (600) comprende: un convertidor de frecuencia y de tiempo para convertir la primera porción de señal de audio en una representación de un dominio de frecuencia que tiene líneas espectrales hasta una frecuencia máxima de la primera porción de señal de audio; un codificador espectral para codificar la representación del dominio de frecuencia; un segundo procesador de codificación para codificar una segunda porción de señal de audio diferente en el dominio de tiempo; un procesador cruzado (700) para calcular, a partir de la representación espectral codificada de la primera porción de señal de audio, datos de inicialización del segundo procesador de codificación (610), de modo que el segundo procesamiento de codificación (610) se inicializa para codificar la segunda porción de señal de audio inmediatamente después de la primera porción de señal de audio en time en la señal de audio; un controlador configurado para analizar la señal de audio y para determinar qué porción de la señal de audio es la primera porción de señal de audio codificada en el dominio de frecuencia y qué porción de la señal de audio es la segunda porción de señal de audio codificada en el dominio de tiempo; y un formador de señales codificadas para formar una señal de audio codificada que comprende una primera porción de señales codificadas para la primera porción de señal de audio y una segunda porción de señales codificadas para la segunda porción de señales de audio.
