Abstract
Método para utilizar un compuesto antimicrobiano volátil contra patógenos que afectan humanos, y que comprende poner en contacto las áreas afectadas con una atmósfera que contiene una cantidad efectiva de un compuesto antimicrobiano volátil en forma gaseosa. Los compuestos antimicrobianos volátiles incluyen ciertos compuestos de oxaborol, por ejemplo benzoxaboroles. Reivindicación 6: El método de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en donde el compuesto antimicrobiano volátil tiene una estructura de fórmula (1) ó (2). Reivindicación 20: El método de acuerdo con la reivindicación 13, en donde el compuesto antimicrobiano volátil tiene una estructura de fórmula (3).
