Abstract

Un método para producir un granulado para gatos que tiene una densidad de aproximadamente 350 a aproximadamente 550 g/l, que comprende por lo menos las siguientes etapas: a) proporcionar ingredientes de granulado que comprenden por lo menos 2% de grasa exógena (% sobre la base del peso total de los ingredientes de granulado), b) precocer por lo menos parcialmente dichos ingredientes de granulado en un preacondicionador, en donde dichos ingredientes tienen un tiempo de permanencia en dicho preacondicionador de por lo menos 2 minutos; c) extrudir los ingredientes de granulado por lo menos parcialmente precocidos en una extrusora con un DSOR inferior a 350 mm²/tonelada métrica de producción, d) secar el extrudido de granulado, resultante de la etapa c), con el que se obtiene un granulado que resulta apetecible para los gatos. También se refiere a un granulado para gatos que puede obtenerse a través de este método, así como a un método para incrementar la ingesta del granulado por parte de un gato.
