Abstract
La presente divulgación provee un polímero de poli(vinil-caprolactama) obtenido por polimerización de un compuesto de vinil-lactama en un sistema solvente de polimerización que comprende un carbonato de alquileno y/o un lactato de alquilo y un iniciador de polimerización. El polímero de poli(vinil-caprolactama), en combinación con el sistema solvente de polimerización, puede ser utilizado como un inhibidor cinético de hidratos de gas para evitar o inhibir la formación de gas natural y/o hidratos de hidrocarburo líquido en un sistema.
